Sonic’s Upcoming Movie Receives A PG Rating

Sonic the Hedgehog has always been a family-friendly video game mascot, so it’s no surprise to hear his upcoming live-action movie – due out on Valentine’s Day – will be suitable for almost everyone.

The MPA Classification and Rating Administration have given the upcoming film a PG (Parental Guidance) rating. Here’s what that means:

PARENTAL GUIDANCE SUGGESTED. Some material may not be
suitable for children.

As you can see, it’ll contain some “brief” mild language, along with some violence and rude humour. We can’t imagine much of the bad language will be coming from Sonic directly, but we’ll just have to wait and see.
