Mortal Kombat co-creator Ed Boon says that he “would love to see” a Mortal Kombat character added to Smash Ultimate

Mortal Kombat co-creator Ed Boon, in a D.I.C.E. Summit 2020 interview with Shacknews, was asked about the possibility of a Mortal Kombat character, such as Scorpion and Sub-Zero, getting representation in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Boon said that “for me personally (I can’t speak for all of Warner Bros or anything), that would be kind of like a stamp of approval. It’d be like being part of the gang and all that stuff.
